WALLACE: So, Karl, if I have to ask you for one word to describe your reaction — downcast, depressed, frustrated?
ROVE: Look — I always like a fight. So, you know, I always like to have challenge. You know, if you believes in limited government, if you believe in center-right principles, if you're conservative, then this is a time for you to sit back and say, you know what — we're going to agree with Barack Obama when we agree with you, we're going to persuade you when you are open to persuasion, and, by gosh, if we don't agree with you we intend to stand up for our principles and make the case to the American people.
WALLACE: Resilient, that's the right word we're chasing for.
ROVE: Resilient, exactly.

I'm disappointed by the outcome of the election, to say the least.
I liked this exchange between Wallace and Rove on Fox News last night though. I especially liked Rove's response because it basically sums up how I feel about the next 4 years to come.
This is America and as a country we are very resilient. We've been through a lot and I believe that in some small way we always end up better.
With that being said, I hope the honeymoon period wraps up quickly. It is time to get down to business. Winning an election is one thing, but it does not prove leadership - regardless of what side you're on.
Moving on...
I started my latest class yesterday and it's going to be a doozy! I can already tell that a lot of work will be involved so I'm preparing myself. I think I only have 5 classes left after this so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, in true college form this number has changed about 10 times in the last 2 months so who knows really. Time will tell I guess!
