I hate Monday mornings + a mosaic

Actually, I hate mornings in general.  Monday through Friday - mornings are not my friend.

Here's a recap of my Monday morning:

• Struggled to crawl out of bed at 6:15am
• Got dressed for the gym, packed my lunch, grabbed my gym bag
• Left the house at 6:38am for the 30 minute drive to the gym
• Got within 1 mile of the gym and realized...
• That I left my work clothes at home...hanging on the door
• Turned around for the 30 minute drive back home
• Showered, got dressed
• Left for another 30 minute drive back to work

Poor Adam...God bless him, he is patient.  We carpool to work together every day.  We work a mile away from each other and the gym is in his office building.  He did all the driving this morning - because of traffic I wouldn't have made it back and forth without being able to drive in the carpool lane. 

It's raining like crazy out there now and not supposed to let up for at least a week.  Because of that my mosaic this week is rain-themed.

We aren't morning people in our house eithe, but mine wasn't too bad, just fighting allergy season. It is raining here too but not expected to last more than a couple of days. See you soon...

Here's my morning: Good strong coffee. TIme to make a piece of french toast and slices of bacon.
Discovered answer to checkbook mystery problem. Now balanced!
Spoke with HS college couselor for Zach. College stuff. Nice chat.
Told Dog I loved him many times.
Laughed with Troy and Al before she left at noon for classes.
Figured out complicated schedule for May.
Talked to my mom and she's coming TO MY House this mothers' day! wahoo!

Oh boy- clothes left hanging on the back of the door! Combined with the rain- not a great way to start the day- just and FYI- cold and rainy here also. At least you attempted to get to the gym- more than I did this am

When I was in the states, I went to the gym on the way to work. Work was about 45-50 minutes away, the gym about 30 minutes away. I forgot my clothes a couple times and stopped at Target and bought myself a new outfit before school! Great excuse for new clothes. See, you gotta make lemonade!
